Secret Weapon Strain

The story of Secret Weapon

Its reputation rests on frost. Secret Weapon is the parent that gave Oreoz its impossible trichome coverage, and In House Genetics leaned on the same cut for Alien Breath, Cactus OG and Double Kush Breath. For a plant that rarely got its own jar on a menu, it has quietly shaped a lot of modern flower.

The name is used by more than one breeder. In House Genetics keeps a different clone-only Secret Weapon (White Fire Alien x WiFi x Pie), and Riot Seeds has its own line. Our listings point at the Vandal Genetics lineage, so if you are comparing notes online, check which plant the other person is holding. Read the batch: sweet-sour melon and pine with a cheese funk underneath is this one.

Terpene breakdown

Caryophyllene leads, followed by limonene and humulene, which is the peppery-citrus pairing that gives Secret Weapon its savoury edge. The nose is sweet and sour at once: melon and pine up front, then that Cheese Quake funk, then a dry peppery finish. Limonene keeps it bright even when the cheese side gets loud.

These are published strain rankings, not a lab test of our batches. Two jars of the same cut can sit on opposite sides of that order.

Growing Secret Weapon

Expect 8 to 10 weeks indoors, with most keepers finishing between days 56 and 70. Plants run medium to tall, five to eight feet outdoors, and yield around 450 to 600 grams per square metre indoors with more under CO2. Outdoor harvest lands late September into early October.

It is rated easy to moderate: vigorous, resistant to common pests, and happy in most climates. The reason to grow it is resin. Trim it over a tray.

How to consume Secret Weapon

A daytime sativa for people who still want their hands steady. Most reports describe a tingly cerebral lift inside two to five minutes, focus and talkativeness, then a gentle body settle underneath that stops short of sedation. The peak lands around 30 to 60 minutes and the whole thing runs two to four hours.

A dry herb vape around 175 to 185 C keeps the melon and pine; joints push the cheese and pepper forward. Start with a pull or two, because the head rush arrives quickly and the body follows later.

Secret Weapon vs similar strains

Its most famous child is Oreoz, the Cookies and Cream cross that inherited the frost. Smoking them side by side shows where the resin came from: Oreoz is sweeter and heavier, Secret Weapon is sharper and more focused.

Against its own parent White Widow, it keeps the crystal coat and adds a sour-melon funk. Cheese Quake is the other half and carries the savoury, cheesy edge that White Widow never had.

If you want the sativa lift with more fruit, Super Lemon Haze and Tangie follow the same citrus lane without the cheese.
