Ice Cream Sundae comes from Melting Pot Farm working with Rugged Roots, who crossed
Ice Cream Cake with
Sundae Driver as an in-house project. They grew out the cross, found three standout phenotypes and kept one, so the real cut is clone-only. Ice Cream Cake brings the weight, the dense frosty structure and that creamy, doughy base. Sundae Driver (Fruity Pebbles OG x
Grape Pie) softens it with smooth fruit-and-cream sweetness. Our AAAAA batch credits Melting Pot and Rugged Roots, but its listing shortens the parent to plain "Ice Cream". Two other crosses share the name. LIT Farms sells Ice Cream Sundae seeds from Sundae Driver x Project 4516, and some menus list Ice Cream x Sundae Driver without naming a breeder. Sundae Driver sits in all three, which is why they taste similar, but only the Melting Pot version is the one in our jar.
