Quick answer
Biscotti is Connected Cannabis Co.'s indica-dominant hybrid of Gelato #25 and South Florida OG, roughly 75/25, commonly quoted 21% - 30% THC with limonene leading the profile. Effects: Relaxed, Euphoric, Creative, Sleepy.
Biscotti is dessert with a fuel bill: Gelato #25 dough and fruit, South Florida OG gas underneath, and a body that arrives ten minutes after the head does. I hand it to evening smokers who want weight without being pinned to the sofa. I do not hand it to anyone looking for a bright afternoon sativa; this is not that. The honest downside: the name now covers three different selections, so ask which jar you are actually buying.

The story of Biscotti
Biscotti came out of Connected Cannabis Co. in 2016, credited to Caleb Counts and sold into the world through the Cookies family. The cross is Gelato #25, one of the numbered keepers from the original Gelato hunt, matched to South Florida OG. Some sources write the OG side as Sour Florida OG; it is the same gassy, compact cut either way.
The name is the whole pitch. Gelato #25 brings sweet dough and fruit, South Florida OG brings fuel and weight, and the result tastes like the Italian biscuit: baked sweetness, a pepper snap on the exhale, and a body that arrives late. It stayed popular because it is easy to sell and easy to smoke.
Watch the family around it. We carry Gelatti, which is Gelato crossed with Biscotti, so you can taste the parent in the child. Black Biscotti and Pink Biscotti are separate selections of the same cross, not the same jar.

Limonene0.537%
Caryophyllene0.437%
Myrcene0.368%
Humulene0.261%
Pinene0.196%
Linalool0.15%
Terpene shares from lab-tested samples (% of total terpene weight).
- Limonene (0.537%): bright citrus lift on top.
- Caryophyllene (0.437%): peppery, fuel-adjacent spice underneath.
- Myrcene (0.368%): the relaxed, body-heavy base.
Limonene leads and caryophyllene sits close behind, which is why Biscotti reads citrus-and-pepper rather than pure dessert. Myrcene carries the heavy body, and the humulene and linalool behind it add the dry, floral note that keeps the sweetness from going syrupy.
Growing Biscotti
Eight to nine weeks indoors, with some phenotypes happier at the full nine weeks to finish resin properly. Plants stay short and bushy, three to five feet with training, and reward ScrOG or topping because the lateral branching is thick and the canopy fills fast.
Yields land around 400 to 550 grams per square metre indoors. It likes a stable climate and dry late flower; the density that makes the buds sell is the same density that holds moisture if humidity runs high.
How to consume Biscotti
Compared with a straight Gelato, Biscotti is the heavier of the two. Reports describe a slow build: a warm tingle in the head, a creative, easy mood, then a body weight that settles in and stays. It lands as an evening strain for most people, though the head stays clear enough to keep talking.
A dry herb vape around 180 to 190 C keeps the dough and pepper; joints push the fuel forward. Start moderate if your batch sits at the top of the range, because the creep is real and the second hit lands harder than the first.
Biscotti vs similar strains
Its child Gelatti is the closest comparison on our shelf: same doughy base, more fruit, slightly less gas. If you like Gelatti, Biscotti is the parent that explains it.
Against Gelato, Biscotti is denser, gassier and slower to lift, with the South Florida OG doing the work. Black Biscotti and Pink Biscotti are darker and fruitier selections of the same cross; treat them as cousins rather than the same jar.
Frequently asked questions
What is Biscotti strain?
Biscotti is Connected Cannabis Co.'s 2016 indica-dominant hybrid, Gelato #25 crossed with South Florida OG, sold through the Cookies family. It is roughly 75/25 indica to sativa.
Is Biscotti indica or sativa?
Indica-dominant, commonly listed 75/25 and sometimes 80/20. The effect reads as a heavy evening hybrid rather than a knockout.
How strong is Biscotti?
Most commercial batches test 21 to 27 percent THC, with premium phenotypes reaching 28 to 30. Leafly lists lower historic figures around 20 percent, so read your jar rather than the average.
Is Biscotti the same as Black Biscotti or Pink Biscotti?
No. They are separate selections of the same Gelato #25 x South Florida OG cross, with darker or fruitier expressions. The genetics are related, the jars are not interchangeable.
How long does Biscotti take to flower?
Eight to nine weeks indoors, roughly 56 to 65 days depending on phenotype.
