What is AA weed (dubs)?
AA cannabis, known across Canada as "dubs" or "double A", is budget-friendly flower. It is real bud, dried and trimmed, at a lower price than the higher grades. Buds tend to be smaller, airier or less frosty, and the nose is milder, but it still smokes and rolls well.
A good AA batch usually shows:
- Bag appeal: smaller or looser buds with some visible trichomes. Not show-off flower, but no excess stem or loose shake.
- Aroma: a lighter terpene nose than trips or quads, still recognisable for the strain.
- Cure: dried enough to burn evenly and grind easily, without being dusty.
