Supernova Strain

Our TakeGord - senior buyer since 2016

Supernova is a market cultivar with a tangled name and a genuinely enjoyable high: Canadian menus list it as a Rockstar x Sensi Star cross, which makes it essentially a re-cross inside the same family - Rockstar itself is Rockbud x Sensi Star - and there is no single breeder release to anchor the paperwork. Judge the jar, not the label, and the jar delivers: bright minty-green buds under a resinous coat, a warm euphoric lift, and a steady body settle that ends the evening comfortably. I hand it to evening smokers who like Rockstar-style indica hybrids but want something a little brighter on the head, and to stress-and-unwind users. I do not hand it to lineage collectors - this is a name with murky documentation, and the honest card says so. The honest downside: batch variation is real, and the name gets confused with the American Supernova (the former Chronic, a Blueberry x Afghani cross), which is a different flower entirely.
