The story of High Octane

High Octane is Exotic Genetix's fuel-flavoured dessert hybrid from a Jet Fuel Gelato x I-95 pairing, out of Mike Tracey's Washington breeding program. Exotic Genetix built its name on the Cookies-Gelato lane throughout the 2010s, and High Octane is one of its gas-forward flagships - the creamy Gelato base with a jet-fuel top note that lives up to the name.

Growing High Octane

A 8 to 9 week flower with Exotic Genetix's usual structure: strong lateral branches, dense chunky buds and heavy resin. It responds well to topping and trellising; watch the late-flower humidity with those dense colas. Solid yields for a boutique cultivar.

How to consume High Octane

An evening hybrid: relaxed and happy first, hungry and sleepy as it builds. At 20 to 26 percent THC the fuel terps signal intensity the high mostly matches - functional for the first hour, couch-bound after. Dinner strain through movie strain.

High Octane vs similar strains

Versus parent lane Gelato, it is gasier and more sedating. Against Wedding Cake it trades vanilla sweetness for fuel.
