The tastes and smells is where it lost a 1/2 a star: it’s more like gum (better then green gum, closer to Jamaican red gum). Meaning it has a faint plant matter. It is like a bit of Japanese Teriyaki beef; sweet, salty and peppery at the same time. I‘m guessing it’s probably very close to Indian charas. Less more

It has a slightly stronger taste than other varieties of kief, but, the effect it has is much better and I find that I’m really enjoying drinking tea. First, I’m learning a lot about cannabis that I never knew about before, like putting kief in hot drinks, and I’ve been toking for nearly 50 years.
