Super Silver Haze is the Haze family's crowning achievement, bred by Green House Seed Company in Amsterdam in the late 1980s by crossing Skunk #1, Northern Lights #5 and Haze. It won the High Times Cannabis Cup for three straight years (1997, 1998 and 1999) and remains the reference point for what a sativa-dominant hybrid can be: the speed and weight of Skunk and NL#5 tamed onto a proper Haze high. Every "silver" haze on modern menus traces back to it.
