Mendo Breath

The story of Mendo Breath

Mendo Breath descends from the legendary Mendo Montage and OGKB (OG Kush Breath) lineage - a GSC-family indica with deep Mendocino County roots. Named for California's Emerald Triangle region, it became known as a dessert-kush hybrid: vanilla-caramel sweetness over earthy OG depth, with a sedative punch that made it a staple of the late-2010s indica revival. It is also a proud parent of Peanut Butter Breath.

Terpene breakdown

• Caryophyllene: peppery, fuel-adjacent spice underneath.
• Limonene: bright citrus lift on top.
• Myrcene: the relaxed, body-heavy base.

Mendo Breath's dominant terp is Caryophyllene, and it leads the flavour on every inhale.

Growing Mendo Breath

An 8 to 9 week flower with chunky, frost-coated buds and medium height. It responds well to training and prefers stable, dry conditions late in flower. Dense colas mean humidity management matters. Moderate yields with exceptional resin - a grower's strain for terpene quality over quantity.

How to consume Mendo Breath

At 18-23% THC it is approachable but effective: one or two puffs set a warm, heavy tone that builds into full sedation. Vape low to taste the vanilla-caramel. Strictly for evenings - Mendo Breath has one speed, and it is slow.

Mendo Breath vs similar strains

Compared to parent -adjacent OGKB family and its descendant Peanut Butter Breath, Mendo Breath is the sweeter, calmer middle of that lineage. Against Granddaddy Purple, it is earthier where GDP is fruitier. Both are nightcaps; Mendo Breath tastes like dessert first.
