Named for the author of The Emperor Wears No Clothes, Jack Herer was bred by Sensi Seeds in Amsterdam in the 1990s from a Haze x Northern Lights #5 x Shiva Skunk cross. It took multiple Cannabis Cups (Sensi's own records list nine overall across categories) and became the benchmark for what a daytime sativa-dominant hybrid should be: clear-headed, spicy-pine flavour and an energetic but manageable high.
