Caesar salad is one of the most popular salads in the whole world. I’ve lost count of how many versions of it I’ve eaten, as of this day.
It’s definitely my go-to salad for a work break, and my forever-favorite afternoon meal. I’m very generous with the dressing, so my version of Caesar salad has the same calories as a creamy Alfredo pasta! But you know what? The tastiness of a Caesar salad doubles with a rich, filling dressing.
I use a homemade dressing for this salad. If you haven’t tried making it before, you are in for a real treat because it’s absolutely incredible. This dressing is even better than those you find in posh, gourmet stores. I usually use anchovies in my Caesar dressing. I know some people cringe at this thought, but trust me...it’s the key ingredient that make your dressing like a restaurant one.
It is not one of those light salads that leave you starving 10 minutes after eating. It’s a filling meal that’ll keep you fuller longer.
